Williams & Hussey believes in supporting the incoming generation of woodworking professionals! For the past 3 years, Steve Carter President of Williams & Hussey and current president of WMMA (Wood Machinery Manufactures of America) has been an advocate of CTE (Career Technical Education). Continued funding in support of CTE is the subject of Mr. Carter's semi-annual meetings with legistalors in Washington DC. Mr. Carter will continue his efforts in lobbying for support for programs that will strengthen the U.S. Manufacturing industry and foremost give students an opportunity to graduate with a skill they are passionate about.
In the past W&H has provided services to Milford High School, Palomar Woodworking College, Purdue University, North Bennett Street School and many more. Over the past 2 years W&H along with many other U.S. woodworking manufacturers and CTE educators all supported the building of the Peyton Woods Manufacturing Program and MiLL Woods Manufacturing Programs located in Colorado. Supporting technical education programs will hopefully close the skills gap U.S. manufacturers are currently facing.
The W&H Molder has been in production in the USA since 1954! Our molder may be small in scale compared to some woodworking machinery, but with its simple design and easy set up, the W&H molder is safe for students to learn how to cut profiles for a variety of projects. Whether students projects are cabinet doors, picture frames, molding details for furniture, look no further than a W&H Molder! Visit our Molder page for operational videos.
