Williams & Hussey molders cut various materials, including hardwoods, softwoods, MDF, and composite materials.
When equipped with variable feed capacity, molders have adjustable feed rates ranging from 0 to 19 feet per minute. Variable Feed allows for flexibility when working with different types of wood.
Williams & Hussey knives are specifically designed for use with Williams & Hussey molders. While some users may use our knives with third-party molders or equipment, we do not guarantee compatibility. Using Williams & Hussey knives in non-Williams & Hussey machines is at the user’s own risk. Such use is not covered under our warranty and is not eligible for refund under any circumstances. We cannot ensure the quality, fit, or performance of our knives when used with other manufacturers’ products.
Our molders are available in both single-phase and three-phase power configurations, depending on the model. Be sure to check the specifications of the molder you are considering to confirm compatibility with your workshop’s electrical system. Consult an electrician if you are unsure of your power requirements.
Molders ship approximately a week after they are ordered.
We use major freight carriers for molder shipments. Smaller parts, knives, and accessories are shipped via standard carriers such as UPS or FedEx.
Yes, we can ship internationally. Customers are responsible for any applicable duties, taxes, and import fees. Please contact us for an international shipping quote.
Once your order ships, we will email you a tracking number. Contact our customer service team if you have any issues tracking your order.
Molders may be returned within 30 of the invoice date. A 10% restocking fee applies to approved molder package returns. All returned molders must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number.
Custom knives are non-returnable since they are made to order. Please confirm all specifications are correct before approving a custom profile knife order.
If your order arrives damaged, please document the damage with photos and contact us immediately. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Yes. A restocking fee of up to 10% may apply to returned molders, provided they are unused and in original condition. Unused parts and accessories can typically be returned without a restocking fee.
To start a return, contact our customer service team. We will provide you with the return goods authorization number and instructions on returning the item.
To order a custom knife, send us a detailed drawing, CAD file, or physical sample of the profile you need. Our team will review your submission and work with you to ensure accuracy before production begins.
Our custom knives are made from precision-ground high-speed steel (HSS), which offers long-lasting durability and sharp cutting performance.
Production for custom knives typically takes 7–10 business days. Shipping time is additional and will vary based on your location.
Yes. Williams & Hussey offers trouble shooting services for molders and select components. Additionally, we can rebuild gearboxes on constant feed molders.

Contact our customer service team by phone or email to arrange a repair or evaluation. We may request photos to understand the problem better. If a return is necessary, we'll issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and provide instructions for shipping your equipment or parts. Items sent without an RMA number may be returned to the sender. Please include a copy of your invoice or packing slip inside the package.

Customers can do routine repairs and maintenance tasks, such as replacing feed rolls. We offer detailed instructions and support to guide you through the process. If you're unsure, we recommend contacting our support team before proceeding.
Yes. Many older Williams & Hussey molders can be upgraded with new components to improve performance, enhance safety, or extend the machine's life. Common upgrades include a new chip extractor and head assembly, conversion kits, variable feed kits, multi-pass kits, and stands. Contact our customer service team with your molder's model and serial number, and we'll help you determine which upgrade options are available for your machine.
