Shipping Policy

Molder Shipments

Molder packages are shipped via freight truck.

Molders are shipped fully assembled and palletized.
They are securely strapped and shrink wrapped for protection during transit.

Small Package Shipments

Packages shipped from Williams & Hussey are packed with protective materials to ensure parts remain in good condition during transit.

Refer to the Receiving & Inspecting Received Goods section for inspection guidelines.

Receiving & Inspecting Received Goods (Molder Packages & Individual Packages)

Non-Freight Shipments

Packages should be opened and inspected within 48 hours of delivery. It is the responsibility of the receiver to:

Inspect products for any damage
Verify that all items received are correct
Confirm custom knife profile and orientation

Freight Shipments

The receiver is responsible for inspecting the pallet upon delivery. Before signing for the shipment, check the following:

Is there any visible damage?
Are any boxes damaged enough to affect the contents?
Are all boxes present on the pallet? (Check the label on top of the shrink wrap)

Important: Signing for the delivery confirms that all items are received in good condition. The freight company is no longer liable for damage after the delivery is signed for. Williams & Hussey is not responsible for damage caused by freight carriers.

After signing, all boxes should be opened immediately to verify the condition of the goods.

Any internal damage must be reported to Williams & Hussey within 48 hours of delivery.
