Description

Subtle Curved Trim for Cohesive Interiors

This crown molding knife brings soft curves and refined lines to your trim work. It offers a clean and elegant finish for upper wall areas and custom millwork.

Cutting Sequence Tip:

When using W&H bottom knives (angle cuts), mill the bottom profile first. Then switch to the top profile knife, flip your stock over, and cut the top profile.

TIP: Before milling the top profile, make a couple of guides to hold the back-angled cuts in place for accuracy.

Purpose

  • Rounds out architectural intersections with smooth concave shaping
  • Enhances the perceived height and elegance of rooms
  • Helps conceal surface mismatches at joints
  • Introduces delicate detail for upscale finishes

Common Usage

  • Ceiling Borders: Used where walls meet ceilings to enrich upper walls
  • Cabinet Finishing: Blends seamlessly into upper storage elements
  • Enhanced Baseboards: Adds an upper profile layer for depth
  • Stairs and Landings: Completes stair trims with subtle sophistication
  • Trim Overlays: Used with other moldings for a built-up profile
