Description

Sculptural Crown Detail for Decorative Rooms

Designed for impact, this profile adds a touch of refinement wherever it’s installed. It’s ideal for creating classic transitions between vertical and horizontal surfaces.

Cutting Sequence Tip:

When using W&H bottom knives (angle cuts), mill the bottom profile first. Then switch to the top profile knife, flip your stock over, and cut the top profile.

TIP: Before milling the top profile, make a couple of guides to hold the back-angled cuts in place for accuracy.

Purpose

  • Frames ceilings with a sculptural, dimensional effect
  • Offers contrast and definition to neutral spaces
  • Helps hide imperfections in wall or ceiling materials
  • Works well in both vintage and updated interiors

Common Usage

  • Entry Halls: Creates a dramatic first impression
  • Custom Furniture Tops: Finishes upper edges of built-in cabinetry
  • Decorative Base Molding: Adds complexity to basic trim setups
  • Stair Edging: Wraps stairwell trim in a consistent style
  • Panel Transitions: Caps wall treatments with an elegant curve
