Description

Wide Crown Molding for Grand Interiors

Designed for impact, this wide crown profile brings a sense of grandeur to ceilings and cabinetry. It’s ideal for formal rooms, tall ceilings, or any application that demands presence.

Cutting Sequence Tip:

When using W&H bottom knives (angle cuts), mill the bottom profile first. Then switch to the top profile knife, flip your stock over, and cut the top profile.

TIP: Before milling the top profile, make a couple of guides to hold the back-angled cuts in place for accuracy.

Purpose

  • Makes bold architectural transitions at room corners
  • Adds visual drama and proportion to large spaces
  • Helps frame ceilings with structure and style
  • Conceals installation imperfections in high-visibility areas

  • Formal Rooms: Perfect for entry halls, dining rooms, or offices
  • Cabinet Integration: Used to tie tall cabinets into crown molding systems
  • Grand Stairways: Complements large staircases with proportional trim
  • Trim Layering: Acts as the top tier in multi-profile molding builds
  • Decorative Wall Treatments: Completes large wall features with an upscale finish
