Description

Arched Ceiling Molding for Elegant Interiors

This profile brings a touch of sophistication to any project. Its smooth curve and balanced scale make it ideal for elevating standard ceiling finishes.

Cutting Sequence Tip:

When using W&H bottom knives (angle cuts), mill the bottom profile first. Then switch to the top profile knife, flip your stock over, and cut the top profile.

TIP: Before milling the top profile, make a couple of guides to hold the back-angled cuts in place for accuracy.

Purpose

  • Softens corners and transitions for a refined aesthetic
  • Enhances visual symmetry throughout a room
  • Adds depth to ceiling borders
  • Covers surface flaws at wall/ceiling junctions

Common Usage

  • Entryways: Frames the ceiling in foyers and vestibules
  • Cabinetry: Finishes upper casework in kitchens and offices
  • Base Molding Buildouts: Adds height to plain baseboards
  • Wall Trim Layers: Works well as part of multi-piece installations
  • Sloped Ceilings: Brings continuity to angular transitions
