Description

Traditional Cove Crown for Smooth Transitions

This simple cove crown is ideal for completing the trim package in rooms with classic design themes. Its curve is clean and understated.

Cutting Sequence Tip:

When using W&H bottom knives (angle cuts), mill the bottom profile first. Then switch to the top profile knife, flip your stock over, and cut the top profile.

TIP: Before milling the top profile, make a couple of guides to hold the back-angled cuts in place for accuracy.

Purpose

  • Bridges the wall and ceiling in a smooth arc
  • Adds dimension while staying subtle
  • Perfect for formal, colonial, or transitional interiors
  • Helps minimize cracks or lines between surfaces

Common Usage

  • Parlor Rooms: Classic look for vintage-inspired spaces
  • Cabinets: Used in custom carpentry designs
  • Ceiling Wraps: Offers full-room consistency
  • Paneling Caps: Ends wall treatments with style
  • Fireplace Surrounds: Complements mantel trim
