Description

Classic Curved Crown for Seamless Room Edges

This crown profile knife is designed to deliver a timeless transition between walls and ceilings. It brings elegance and cohesion to trim work in both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Cutting Sequence Tip:

When using W&H bottom knives (angle cuts), mill the bottom profile first. Then switch to the top profile knife, flip your stock over, and cut the top profile.

TIP: Before milling the top profile, make a couple of guides to hold the back-angled cuts in place for accuracy.

Purpose

  • Creates a flowing connection between surfaces, minimizing visual harshness
  • Conceals ceiling-to-wall gaps with refined curvature
  • Adds subtle architectural refinement to elevate any space
  • Complements various design styles without dominating the décor

Common Usage

  • Ceiling Corners: Used to finish room edges with a soft, stylish curve
  • Upper Cabinet Finishing: Helps join tall cabinets to ceilings with a tailored look
  • Top-of-Baseboard Accent: Enhances the transition above baseboards
  • Stairwell Trim: Offers a cohesive look on sloped ceiling areas
  • Wall Panel Finish: Finishes off wainscoting and paneled walls with polish
