Restore Power and Performance to Your Williams & Hussey Molder
The Williams & Hussey Replacement Control Panel Assembly is the complete electrical control system that powers your molder. If your machine will not start, the arbor does not turn, or the feed rolls are not receiving power, the control panel is often the cause.
If you’re not sure whether the control panel is the issue, review our step-by-step troubleshooting guide: Molder Won’t Turn On – Diagnostic Guide. This guide walks you through checking power, switches, and common electrical issues before replacing components.
Each replacement control is a complete assembly. This is a direct factory replacement designed specifically for your model and power configuration.
What the Control Panel Does
The control panel assembly is the operating center of your molder. The conrol panel:
- Powers the knife arbor motor
- Powers the feed roll motor
- Houses internal electrical components
- Includes emergency stop (E-Stop)
- Includes start/stop switches
- Includes speed dial (variable speed models)
Without a functioning control, your machine will not operate properly.
When Should You Replace the Control?
You may need a Williams & Hussey replacement control panel assembly if:
- The machine will not start
- The arbor does not turn
- Feed rolls do not engage
- No power reaches the machine
- The emergency stop or switches fail
In many cases, replacing the control restores full functionality immediately.
Before Ordering: Confirm These Two Things
Selecting the correct control panel depends on your machine and your building power. Before ordering, confirm the following:
1. Your Building Power
You must know:
- Single Phase or Three Phase
- Voltage: 115V or 208/230V
This refers to the electrical service supplying your building and machine. If you are unsure, check your breaker panel, machine nameplate, or consult your electrician.
2. Your Molder Model Number
Different models use different control configurations.
Model or serial number information may be located:
- On a machine nameplate
- On a machine tag
- On the serial number plate
- On the front lid of the control panel
Some older machines may only display a serial number. If you cannot locate your model number, contact customer service with your serial number and we will help identify the correct control.
