Returned Goods Policy

Custom knives are not refundable unless the error was the fault of W&H. All other products are returnable within 30 days of the invoice date. Only unused products are eligible for return and must be in the original packaging.

To request a return, call, fax, or email us with the reason for the return or replacement.

  • Goods cannot be returned without a Return Goods Authorization (RMA) number.
  • The RMA number must be written on the outside of the shipping box.
  • A copy of a W&H invoice or pick list should be enclosed in the box.
  • A restocking fee of 10% will be assessed for molder package returns.
  • The customer may be responsible for return shipping costs—this will be determined when the RMA number is issued.
Determination of Credit

Returned goods will be inspected within 48 hours.

Credit will be issued if the products are returned in original condition (unless the original product was damaged). Credit will be issued via the original payment method, less a 10% restocking fee on molder package returns.

Receiving & Inspecting Received Goods (Molder Packages & Individual Packages)

Non-Freight Shipments: Packages should be opened and inspected within 48 hours of delivery. It is the responsibility of the receiver to:

  • Inspect the products for damage
  • Verify that the correct items were received
  • Confirm custom knife profile and orientation

Freight Shipments: The receiver is responsible for inspecting the pallet upon delivery. Before signing for the shipment, check:

  • Is there any visual damage?
  • Are any boxes damaged enough that the goods inside might be affected?
  • Are all boxes accounted for? (Reference label on top of shrink wrap)

Signing for the delivery confirms all items are in good condition. The freight company is no longer liable for damage once the delivery is signed for, and W&H is not responsible for freight damage.

After signing, all boxes should be opened immediately to verify product condition. Any internal damage must be reported to W&H within 48 hours of delivery.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. We’ll evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
