Our products are designed and manufactured to the highest quality, and we stand behind each part and assembly built. Williams & Hussey Molder Warranty

Williams & Hussey Machine Co., Inc. warrants its molders for a period of one year from the original date of purchase. Control and motors have a limited warranty.
Williams & Hussey guarantees our Molders will be free from defects in materials and workmanship and will perform as advertised when used and maintained correctly and for their intended use.

What is covered?

Manufacturing defects in material and construction;
Performance under normal and proper use.

What is not covered?

Use by third parties other than the original purchaser;
Normal wear and tear;
Rust, corrosion, or cosmetic damage due to lack of proper care, or damage caused by environmental conditions, power surges, water, fire, or other external causes;
Damage due to misuse, modifications, abuse, neglect, improper installation, improper maintenance, or accidents;
Damage caused by wood jams;
Damage caused by use of knife motors with a horsepower (hp) rating greater than 2 hp;
Products or hardware that have been used in a machine or molder other than Williams & Hussey machines or molders;
Products that have been modified, altered, sharpened incorrectly, reconstructed or repaired by anyone other than Williams & Hussey;
Loss or theft; and
Any product sold or transferred to a new owner.

Who is covered?

This warranty extends only to the original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase of genuine Williams & Hussey Molders, including the motors, controls and elliptical jigs contained within the Molders, and is non-transferable.

Exclusive Remedy

If a defect covered under this warranty is discovered, the original purchaser must contact Williams & Hussey at customerservice@williamsnhussey.com and provide proof of purchase. Williams & Hussey must authorize the return and the original owner must return the Molder, with all parts and motors attached, to us for inspection to initiate a warranty claim.

At Williams & Hussey’s sole discretion, we will either repair or replace the Molder free of charge. Williams & Hussey may also substitute the product with one of equal value. The original owner will be responsible for shipping costs. Williams & Hussey may issue a refund if replacement or repair of the product is not commercially practical or cannot be made within the time of performance. This shall be the buyer's sole and exclusive remedy under this Limited One-Year Warranty.

Return Material Authorization (RMA)

Molders may be returned within 30 of the invoice date. A 10% restocking fee applies to approved molder package returns. All returned molders must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number.

To start a return, contact our customer service team. We will provide you with the return goods authorization number and instructions on returning the item.

Warranty & compatibility disclaimer

However, we cannot guarantee the quality of others’ products or the compatibility of Williams & Hussey knives with third-party products. Use of Williams & Hussey knives in third-party molders and other products not manufactured by Williams & Hussey is at the user’s own risk, without warranty, and without opportunity for refund for any reason.

Limitation of Liability

Williams & Hussey and its affiliated companies and third party suppliers shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, indirect, special, or punitive losses, costs, or damages incurred by buyer or others, including, but not limited to, loss of use, loss of profits or loss of value whether in contract, tort or otherwise, directly or indirectly arising out of or in any way connected to the sale, handling, or use of Williams & Hussey molders and products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Williams & Hussey’s total liability under this limited one-year warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the molder. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

Williams & Hussey disclaims any liability for death or personal injury to the extent permitted by law.

Exclusion of Implied Warranties

The foregoing warranty is in lieu of and excludes all other warranties not expressly set forth herein, whether express or implied, by operation of law or otherwise, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so these limitations may not apply to you.

Governing Law

This Limited One-Year Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Iowa.

We reserve the right to modify this warranty at any time without notice.

Williams & Hussey Profile Knife Warranty

Limited Lifetime Warranty

A Limited Lifetime Warranty applies only to Williams & Hussey profile knives for the original owner’s lifetime. Williams & Hussey guarantees our knives will be free from defects in materials and workmanship and will perform as advertised when used and maintained correctly and for their intended use.

What is covered?

This warranty extends only to the original purchaser of genuine Williams & Hussey profile knives and is non-transferable. This warranty covers:

Manufacturing defects in material and construction; and
