Upgrade Your Constant Speed Molder to Variable Feed

The Variable Feed Conversion Kit transforms a constant speed Williams & Hussey molder into a fully adjustable variable feed system.

By replacing the original gearbox with a Vari-Feed drive motor and control panel assembly, this upgrade allows feed rates to be adjusted from 0–19 feet per minute with the turn of a dial.

This added control provides greater flexibility when working with hardwoods, deep profiles, and demanding cuts—allowing you to reduce feed speed for improved finish quality or increase speed for production efficiency.

Complete System Conversion

This is a full conversion kit. Replacing individual components will not convert a constant speed molder to variable feed.

The kit includes all essential components required for proper system operation:

• Vari-Feed Drive Motor
• Control Panel Assembly with Start/Stop, Emergency Stop, and Feed Rate Potentiometer
• Vari-Feed Chain and Sprocket Kit

Each component is engineered to work together as a matched system.

Important Compatibility Information

The variable feed conversion kit is compatible with:

• Constant speed Williams & Hussey molders
• Older models including W7S, Original, 154, and 154CE

Not intended for:

• Variable feed molders
• Use as a replacement part

This kit is a complete system conversion. Individual components will not convert a constant speed molder to variable feed operation.
