Description
Hardware for Elliptical Jig and Guide System Installation
The Elliptical Jig and Guide System Hardware Kit provides the necessary drilling tools and mounting hardware required to install an Elliptical Jig or Guide System on Williams & Hussey molders without factory-drilled mounting holes.
Many molders manufactured before July 2010 were not pre-drilled with the two mounting holes required to attach the GS-83 Rev A sub-plate. This kit ensures accurate hole placement and secure installation.
Even if you choose to drill the holes yourself, this kit is still required. It contains the mounting hardware specifically designed for proper attachment of the guide system sub-plate.
.
Two Installation Methods
This kit supports two mounting approaches:
Option 1 – Bolt & Nut Installation (Hardware Included)
Drill clearance holes and secure the sub-plate using the included bolts, washers, and nuts.
Option 2 – Drill & Tap Method
Drill and tap the molder bed for threaded mounting.
A #7 drill and ¼”-20 tap are required for this method and are NOT included.
Regardless of the drilling method used, the hardware included in this kit is required for proper installation.
