This kit allows the feed rate of a molder to change from a constant 15’ feed rate per minute to a constant 11’ feed rate per minute. Purchase this kit to slow a molder’s feed rate down to cope with various wood species.

It takes some practice to make a good panel. On occasion, a light chain imprint can be found on the top of the panel. This mark can be removed with a thickness planer or sander. Another option is to install a 54-310-K kit, which will eliminate the chain mark entirely. A simple change of sprockets and chains will allow raised panels to be created more efficiently.
