The Constant Speed Molder Maintenance Kit is designed to keep Model 154CE Molders and other constant feed molders running smoothly. The contents of the kit include:

– 3 Fiber Drives (P-117)
– 1 Bottle of Gear Box Oil (54-416)
– 1 Gasket (P-128)

A Fiber Drive is the first line of defense if cutting goes awry. The Fiber Drive will give way instead of breaking a costly gear in the gear box.

A Gasket provides a seal between the chain guard and the gear box.

A constant feed Molder, like Model 154CE, relies on Gear Box Oil to provide extra protection for gears, bearings, and seals. It is essential to use the proper oil. Failure to maintain oil levels can result in burned-out gears and bearings.
