Description
Williams & Hussey Feed Roll Kit
Williams & Hussey Feed Roll Kit is designed to restore smooth, consistent material feeding while giving you the ability to fine-tune performance based on your production needs. Built to fit every Williams & Hussey molder ever manufactured—from vintage W7 machines to today’s variable-speed models—these polyurethane feed rolls deliver dependable grip, durability, and long service life.
Whether you’re replacing worn components or optimizing your setup for specific profiles, these kits help bring your molder’s feed system back to peak operating condition.
Durometer Options: Choose the Grip and Durability You Need
Williams & Hussey feed roll kit is available in two polyurethane durometer ratings, allowing you to match feed performance to your material type and workload.
- Yellow (60 durometer): A softer compound that provides increased grip. Ideal for short production runs, single-pass cuts, softer wood species, and delicate profiles where feed control is critical.
- Green (70 durometer): A slightly harder compound designed for longer life. Best suited for multi-pass operations, continuous production, and applications where feed rolls contact material in consistent wear zones.
Choosing the correct durometer helps reduce slippage, protect finished surfaces, and extend feed roll life.
Feed Roll Kit Options
Each kit includes two polyurethane feed rolls and four axles, with options designed for grip, durability, or a balanced combination of both:
- P-123-K – Two yellow (60 durometer) feed rolls & four axles. Best for soft edges, light-duty work, and short production runs.
- P-160-K – One yellow and one green feed roll with four axles. A popular combination setup: use the yellow roll on the infeed for better grip and the green roll on the outfeed for added durability.
- P-170-K – Two green (70 durometer) feed rolls and four axles. Designed for multi-pass jobs and higher-volume production where feed roll wear occurs in predictable locations.

Feed Rolls Not Turning?
If your feed rolls are not turning, the issue may not be the feed rolls themselves. Common causes include chain misalignment, worn sprockets or axles, or improper pressure screw adjustment. All of these issues can prevent the feed system from engaging correctly.
Before replacing components, we recommend reviewing our step-by-step troubleshooting guide, Feed Rolls Not Moving?, which walks through the most common causes and shows how to diagnose and correct the problem.
This guide can help you determine whether your feed rolls truly need replacement or if a simple adjustment will restore proper operation.
