CONSTANT FEED GEARBOXES
It's simple to determine what feed rate gearbox you have. Count the sprocket teeth and chain pitch. If the sprockets and chains are in poor condition or not installed correctly the molder feed drive will NOT work properly.
P-511 Complete Gearbox is a 15 feet per minute (FPM) constant feed rate. The (2) chains, (2) drive sprockets and (2) feed roll sprockets determine the speed rate. Click here for a P-511 schematic.
15 feet per minute –
- (1) P-112; Chain, #25, Short, Infeed, 32 Pitch
- (1) P-212; Chain, #25, Long, Outfeed, 58 Pitch
- (2) P-110; Sprocket, 16 Tooth (drive sprockets located inside the chain guard)
- (2) P-111; Sprocket, 15 Tooth (feed roll sprockets, 1 on the end of each feed roll)
P-511 REV A Complete Gearbox is a 11 feet per minute (FPM) constant feed rate. The (2) chains, (2) drive sprockets and (2) feed roll sprockets determine the speed rate. Click here for a P-511 REV A schematic.
11 feet per minute –
- (1) P-155; Chain, #25, Short, Infeed, 30 Pitch
- (1) P-156; Chain, #25, Long, Outfeed, 56 Pitch
- (2) P-150; Sprocket, 12 Tooth (drive sprockets located inside the chain guard)
- (2) P-111; Sprocket, 15 Tooth (feed roll sprockets, 1 on the end of each feed roll)
54-312-K Raised Panel Kit. Customers that have a 15 feet per minute molder and are molding raised panel doors may have changed the original (15 FPM) sprockets and chains to our raised panel kit. Due to the cutting design of raised panel knives, the 15 FPM chains will occasionally rub on the raised section of the door. The raised panel kit sprockets and chains eliminate this issue. If your gearbox is 11 (FPM), the raised panel kit is not needed.
Raised Panel Kit -
- (1) P-155; Chain, #25, Short, Infeed, 30 Pitch
- (1) P-156; Chain, #25, Long, Outfeed, 56 Pitch
- (2) P-153; Sprocket, 14 Tooth (drive sprocket located inside the chain guard)
- (2) P-152; Sprocket, 13 Tooth (feed roll sprockets, 1 on the end of each feed roll)
